Get Off the Beaten Path: Camper Rental in Anchorage, Alaska

Renting a camper can be one of the best ways to see all the scenic sites and routes in Anchorage, Alaska. Learn what you should do to pick the best camper for your trip below.

Three Main Classes of Camper Rentals: A, B, C

There are some distinct differences between the three main classes of camper rentals: Class A, Class B, and Class C. Class A is the most luxurious with all of the amenities, especially in the kitchens and bathrooms; of course, this means the price for them is higher as well, particularly if the camper is a newer model. Class B campers are essentially camper vans and drive like trucks or vans, so they are probably the easiest type of camper to drive for a first-time camper renter. Class C campers are a little larger than the B class, being that the C class usually has an overhead cab area with extra space for sleeping.

Be Sure To Know Exactly What’s Included

It is standard for all campers to have campsite hookup tools (electric cables, sewer hoses), small kitchens, and bathrooms with a small sink, a toilet, and a shower drain on the floor. However, some campers come with pots and pans, while others may have outdoor chairs included. Be sure you know exactly what you are getting so you know what extra items you need to bring along if you choose to have them on your trip.
